The research focused on the history of theatre in the Czech lands from the Middle Ages to the beginning of the national revival. Biographical entries of personalities and selected anonymous works were prepared. Attention was paid to Czech, Latin, German, Italian and French language theatrical activities of artists who were prominent in the period.
