The ATI – Arts and Theatre Institute cordially invites you to an international conference where the outcomes of the bilateral project Post Covid Adaptation Models in Culture will be presented.

Focal Point: Artists and Culture after Covid

The COVID-19 pandemic marked the inception of a series of crises currently faced in Europe. Within the cultural sphere, it has particularly impacted the most vulnerable, i.e. those who create, disseminate, and preserve cultural values—artists, creatives, and other cultural workers. Cultural policy is dedicated to legislating their status as artists, a commitment adopted in various forms or updated by EU countries in response to the ongoing crisis. The conference builds upon its predecessor held in September 2022, offering expanded insights into the status of artists. Additionally, the conference will shed light on the current challenges faced in cultural policy.

The partner of the project, supported by the EEA and Norway Grants, is Arts Council Norway.

Kristin Danielsen, CEO of Arts and Culture Norway, Chair of IFACCA (International Federation of Arts Councils and Culture Agencies)
